Release Notes for EasyEFT (Version 25.0.1.0) – Latest Updates and Enhancements

We’re excited to announce some valuable new improvements and bug fixes in EasyEFT, making the payment process within Dynamics 365 Business Central even smoother and more efficient for businesses. Here’s what you can expect in this release:

  1. Limited Flexibility in Charging from Cash Receipt Batches

    • Issue: Previously, while charging from a single cash receipt batch at a time, it gives error limiting flexibility for users who needed to manage payments across multiple batches and at the same time.

    • Resolution: EasyEFT now supports direct charging from multiple cash receipt batches, allowing users to manage EFT processes within each batch without needing to transfer transactions. This enhancement makes batch processing faster, more flexible, and efficient for various business scenarios.

  2. Conflicts in Multi-User Card Charging from Cash Receipt Journal

    • Issue: Finance teams faced challenges with multiple users processing transactions simultaneously, leading to conflicts when charging cards from various batches in the cash receipt journal.

    • Resolution: We’ve resolved this issue, enabling multiple users to charge from different cash receipt batches at the same time without interference. This update enhances team productivity and removes previous bottlenecks, ensuring smooth, concurrent transaction processing.

  3. Compatibility with Business Central Version 25

    • Issue: To ensure optimal performance, EasyEFT required code adjustments for full compatibility with Business Central version 25.

    • Resolution: Our team has made essential code updates to guarantee that all EasyEFT features function seamlessly on Business Central version 25 (BC25), allowing users to experience uninterrupted functionality on the latest platform release.

  4. Payment Link Issue for Remaining Amount on Posted Sales Invoice

    • Issue: Users reported that the payment link on posted sales invoices didn’t correctly reflect the remaining balance for partial payments, causing discrepancies during the payment process.

    • Resolution: This release includes a fix that ensures the payment link accurately displays the outstanding balance, making it easier for users to complete payment transactions and maintain accurate records for posted sales invoices.
