Customer Challenges

Initial implementation for NAV 2016 was done with a small partner out of California and Navisiontech was brought in to help with LS Retail. The implementation did not go well, and users were poorly trained and there were cost issues.

The LS Retail portion of the implementation had gone well so Sullivan switched to Navisiontech as the partner of record in early 2017. The first big project was to change all items from the Standard costing method to FIFO costing method. Then integrate Sullivan Supply’s website with the ERP software.

Sullivan’s then built a new facility that needed full WMS capabilities. Sullivan Supply South in Texas was purchased by Sullivan Supply and needed to be integrated into the NAV 2016 database. Sullivan’s was able to grow its reach by adding additional locations throughout the US they use LS Retail POS.

Partner Solution

In early 2017, Navisiontech stepped in as the new partner of record, bringing expertise and a fresh perspective to the table. Navisiontech’s first major project was to transition Sullivan Supply’s costing method from Standard to FIFO, ensuring more accurate financial tracking. A pivotal achievement was reached when Navisiontech successfully integrated Sullivan Supply’s website with their ERP system. This integration facilitated smooth online transactions.

As Sullivan Supply grew and required comprehensive Warehouse Management System capabilities for their new facility, Navisiontech implemented Tasklet Mobile WMS alongside Dynamics Navision. This integration empowered Sullivan Supply to effectively manage their entire warehouse operation.

The acquisition of Sullivan Supply South in Texas required integrating this new location into the NAV 2016 database, which was successfully managed by Navisiontech.

In its pursuit of digital transformation, Navisiontech demonstrated the Dynamics 365 Business Central cloud solution to showcase how this comprehensive cloud ERP system can reduce hardware infrastructure costs and provide continuous updates to the latest version without paying enhancement cost.

Sullivan Supply was impressed by the multitude of benefits and made a strategic move to transition from their on-premises Dynamics version to Dynamics 365 Business Central Cloud. Navisiontech implemented LS Central POS, LS Pay to elevate retail operations, streamline payment processes.

Further improvements in order processing and shipping efficiency were achieved through the integration of Lanham EDI and Lanham E-ship & E-Receive module. Easy EFT was also introduced to ensure secure and efficient electronic payments within Dynamics 365 Business Central.
